Derma filler treatments are used to replenish the volume that is lost from the tissues of our face as we age. The loss of volume causes lines and wrinkles and hollowing. Injectable fillers restore the plump youthfulness back into our faces taking away the tell-tale signs of ageing such as furrowed brows and laugh lines.

It works by drawing in water and therefore augmenting the skin, thus reducing the wrinkle treated. It is a non-animal product and is very safe to use as cosmetic fillers.
It can also be used for lip enhancement.
The anti-aging treatments are based on non-animal Hyaluronic acid. It works together with the body’s own Hyaluronic acid and creates volume and fill in lines. Hyaluronic acid in anti – aging treatments is almost identical to that naturally found in the body.
The product is naturally integrated into the tissue, allowing important nutritive agents to pass freely through the implant and cells to pass between fragments of the gel.
Once in the skin, Anti aging treatments works together with the body’s own hyaluronic acid and joins forces to create volume. Unlike permanent implants, Teosyal always leaves you a choice when the effect of the treatment has worn off.
For wrinkle treatments, topical anesthetic cream of local anesthetic if preferred are used. Most of the clients find the anti-aging treatments nearly pain free and comfortable.
The procedure takes between 15-30 minutes and the results are instant.
Most of the clients will have slight redness of the skin around the injected areas which usually lasts between 24-48 hours. The client can carry on with life as normal. It’s advisable to leave the treated area alone for 48 hours to let it settle. It is advisable to not have a facial or similar treatment that may disturb the products or expose the newly treated areas to strong sunlight for 2-3 days. Travelling internationally by air is not recommended for 1-2 days.
The treatment usually lasts between 6-12 months. Some fillers can last even longer.
Most patients have top ups when they feel the effect is starting to wear off i.e. anytime between 6 and 12 months, each patient can hold and react differently.
Some redness and minimum swelling are the most common side effects which normally settle in 1-2 days. Very occasionally patients can suffer some bruising at the injection site. Swelling normally settles in 1-2 days after injection in the skin and within a week after injection to the lips.

Correction of the wrinkles and the enhanced lip effect will subside gradually until your skin looks like it did before the treatment.

After Treatment with anti-aging treatments Instructions
- Immediately after treatment, there may be slight redness, swelling and an itching sensation in the treated area.
This is a normal result of the injection. - Avoid touching area for 6 hours after treatment. Light make-up can then be applied.
- Do not expose treated area to intense heat (e.g. solaruim and sunbathing) or extreme cold.
- If you have previously suffered from facial cold sores, there is a risk that needle puncture could contribute to another eruption. However taking a course of Zovirax or Aciclovir tablets prior to the day of treatment can reduce the chances of this occurring prescribe this if needed.
- After the initail treatment of wrinkles most patients choose to have follow up treatment in 6 – 12 months. Lips normally need a retreatment after 6 months.
- You can repeat the procedure as often as you like, depending on the degree of improvement required.
- A top up treatment within 2 – 4 weeks of the initial treatment may be required to achieve optimal results. This normally requires a smaller amount of product.

Treatment with anti-aging treatments is usually simple, taking approximately 30 minutes. Though risks exist with any procedure, these are rare with anti aging treatments making them very safe. And with immediately visible, long-lasting results are very successful.
